Jane Clark is a filmmaker with features, VR content, shorts and a digital series behind her.

Jane has just completed her 3rd feature as writer/director/producer called WITCHY WAYS. The film stars Diora Baird, Marem Hassler, Candis Cayne, David Fumero, Marc Price and Alexandra Barton. It is being sold by Storyboard Media and is currently on the festival circuit.

 

Her first feature as a director was  METH HEAD, starring Lukas Haas, Tom Sizemore, Candis Cayne, Necar Zadegan, Wilson Cruz and Theo Rossi among others. The film played over 30 international festivals, won 12 awards including, Best Feature, Best First Feature, Best Director, Best Screenplay. It released June 2014 through Random Media.

 

Her second feature as director, CRAZY BITCHES earned the dubious distinction of being one of the top ten illegally downloaded films its opening weekend. The film played over 25 international festivals in 6 months, won Best Ensemble Cast and was nominated for Best Feature, Best Supporting Actress and Best Soundtrack. The film released in February 2015 through Gravitas Ventures. The series verion, CRAZ Y BITCHES - Seasons 1 & 2 released January 2021 on a number of digital platforms including TUBI and is was the 2nd  most watched content on OMLtv/ Revry in the first few months of release.

 

Prior to that Jane produced ELENA UNDONE for writer/director Nicole Conn, (Little Man, Claire of the Moon.) The film has played successfully on the festival circuit and is a best seller with Wolfe Releasing.

 

Before foraying into feature producing, Jane produced, directed, wrote and edited 7 award winning short films. She returned to the short world in 2019 with DINNER FOR FOUR which enjoyed a festival run before releasing on LezFlicks. She also took a dip in the Virtual Reality world with DON'T COME OVER - a 6 minute VR project pulled from her feature script DON'T COME OVER written with Guinevere Turner (AMERICAN PSYCHO, CHARLIE SAYS.)

 

Jane began her career as an actress including a recurring role on CHICAGO HOPE. She has spoken on numerous panels covering film production, fundraising, marketing and distribution, and creating films for social change. She is currently writing a book on making short films from Idea through Distribution, and was a board member and programmer for the Woods Hole Film Festival in Cape Cod, Massachusetts for 6 years.

She is a member of the Alliance for Women Directors, Film Fatales and the Screen Actor's Guild.

IBob Tourtellotte is the former editor, entertainment and lifestyle, for Reuters News, where he covered Hollywood and the movie industry. For more than 15 years, he interviewed and wrote about the most influential players in the business.

Bob has served as Executive Producer on all FilmMcQueen productions. He cut his teeth collaborating with his wife, filmmaker Jane Clark, on several short films before launching into feature production  with METH HEAD. He followed that with the horror, comedy, murder suspense CRAZY BITCHES, which is was released February 13th, 2015 through Gravitas Ventures, followed by the short form series by the same name.

Their current collaboration, WITCHY WAYS, premieres at FilmOut San Diego on Sept 13, 2024.

 

He is the creator of two FilmMcQueen series:

 

TAHLEQUAH - a supernatural thriller about a young man who returns home to rural Texas to run his father's RV Park. He will soon discover the park is more than a neighborhood of eccentric tenants. It is a portal to a netherworld that helps murder victims reap revenge on their murderers.

 

#upndown - a tv comedy created with Marc Price (best known as Skippy on FAMILY TIES.) The show is loosely based around Marc's experiences as a former child star.

 

Bob and Jane are partners in production company FilmMcQueen, and they live and work in Los Angeles. Bob holds an MA in journalism from New York University.
